Unitary effects in spin-orbit splitting of p-wave baryons

Abstract : The behavior of the low-transfer vertex for baryon-baryon-meson interaction and threshold effects plays an important role for the spin-orbit interaction in baryons. If treated correctly they are capable of explaining, at least schematically, the order and importance of spin-orbit splittings in L=1 baryons as well as partial and total widths.
