# Measurement of the mass and width of the Z$^0$-particle from multihadronic final states produced in e$^+$e$^-$ annihilation

Abstract : Following a presentation of the role of numbers and measures in the evaluation of scientific journals, adequate statistical and mathematical indicators are described for some traditional "paper" journals in information science and in communication science. These indicators can be used to improve the impact and the audience of these journals. With new electronic journals, it is easier to determine these indicators. The results of the first statistical study dealing with information science electronic journals is presented.
