The extraction of relevant information in texts constitutes a fundamental process of text mining. We realize this process with a linguistic platform (ILC) for recognition and extraction of terms and their linguistic variants from corpora. We present a methodology to enhance the recognition of syntactic term variation in English using syntactic and morphosyntactic features.
