Détermination de l'interaction entre protons et noyaux exotiques riches en neutrons par mesure de sections efficaces de réaction.

Abstract : The study of exotic nuclei is of great interest and has been particularly developed for several years thanks to the improvement of the intensities and optical qualities of the secondary exotic beams. In this context, an experiment of reaction cross sections measurement of exotic nuclei on protons was undertaken at GANIL. During this experiment, the proton-nucleus reaction cross sections have been measured, for the first time around 50 MeV per nucleon, for several light neutron-rich nuclei (He->Mg) on a liquid hydrogen target built especially for this experiment. The reaction cross sections are fundamental data and also allow to check the validity of theoretical models. Our experimental reaction cross section have thus allowed to conclude that Kox's parameterisation can not be applied to the nuclei far from stability and that the phenomenological potential CH89 is not appropriate to describe the nuclei with mass A<40. The case of the 6He, for which we have, from now on, a complete set of data of elastic scattering, of charge exchange and, from this experiment, of reaction cross section, show that the various type of data bring some complementary constraint on the proton-nucleus interaction potential. ln particular, the reaction cross section measurement and the charge exchange angular distribution put very strong constraints on the imaginary part of the potential, like on the ratio between the isovector and isoscalar part of the interaction.
