Tests of fundamental symmetries in beta decay

Abstract : Precision measurements of correlation observables in nuclear beta-decay provide sharp tests of the symmetry properties assumed in the standard model of electroweak interactions. In particular, measurments of pseudoscalar observables and triple correlations constitute sensitive means to search for deviations from maximal parity violation and from time reversal invariance in weak decays.
