# Study of neutron-rich nuclei around N=28

Abstract : Previous measurements around the N=28 magic number for neutron-rich nuclei suggest a structural modification for those nuclei(half-lives(T1/2) measurements, Coulomb Excitation E(2+),...),which can be associated to a reduction of the N=28 shell gap and a proton collectivity. We performed an experiment aimed to study the ${42^}$Si, through the measurement of its first 2+ energy using the two-nucleon knockout reaction. We will present new experimental information, which will be discussed in the light of the persistence of the magicity far from stability.
