Calibration of the very-front-end electronics for the electromagnetic calorimeter of the CMS experiment

Abstract : A Very-Front-End (VFE) card is an important part of the on-detector electronics of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter that will be build of -,z 76, 000 radiation hard scintillating crystals PbWO4 and operating on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Almost 16,000 WE cards amplify and digitalize incoming signal from photodetector. The systems for burn-in and channel-to-channel calibration developed at IPN Lyon are described as well as a status and main results for the first approximate to 9,000 WE cards are also presented.
