Status on the development of an electrolytic device based on liquid metallic drops in molten salt media

Abstract : This article describes the progress made recently at CEA-Marcoule on the conception of an innovative electrolytic pyroprocess dedicated to the quantitative actinides recovery. The results of this work can be seen as a breakthrough in the electrolytic methods carried out in molten salt media, when the electrodeposition occurs at a dispersed phase cathode consisting of a liquid metal.
