Abstract : Evidence for the accelerated expansion of the Universe has accumulated in the last decade with the many cosmological observations from SNIa, CMB, cluster count, and most recently baryon oscillations. The theoretical origin of accelerated expansion remains one of the most challenging research activities today. The goal of the ZEN project is to provide a consistent and complete phenomenological framework bringing together theoreticians, phenomenologists and experimentalists. It will handle theories, observed data, and statistical tools with a phenomenological approach in order to allow the consistent interpretation of free parameters in theories, and the inclusion of experimental systematic errors
