Transmission Electron Microscopy of Ultracarbonaceous Antarctic Micrometeorites of Possible Cometary Origin

Abstract : TEM observations of ultracarbonaceous Antarctic micrometeorites show intimate mixing of disordered carbon and fine-scale assemblages of minerals like Mg-rich olivine, pyroxenes and Fe-Ni sulphides and alloys.
