GANIL/SPIRAL 2 – status and future

Abstract : Recent results related to study of nuclei far from stability obtained at the GANIL facility will be presented. A short-term scientific program of the current facility, in particular, the AGATA campaign at GANIL and future plans related to the forthcoming SPIRAL2 facility will be discussed.
