In-situ OES characterization of aniline plasma and correlation with its plasma-polymer

Abstract : Aniline plasma is generated in a multi-dipolar microwave plasma at very low pressure. The emission spectrum shows characteristic emissions of electronically excited fragments such as CN, CH, NH, C2, H2, N2, N2+, and H-Balmer. Correlation between the OES and XPS/TFIR data allowed deducing preponderant reaction pathways such as the dehydrogenation of CH and NH groups initiating the formation of H-Balmer and the PANI growth.
