Simulation of the SAGE spectrometer

Abstract : The SAGE spectrometer combines a Ge-detector array with a Si detector to allow simultaneous detection of gamma-rays and electrons. A comprehensive GEANT4 simulation package of the SAGE spectrometer has been developed with the ability to simulate the expected datasets based on user input files. The measured performance of the spectrometer is compared to the results obtained from the simulations.
